Ugh, Damn Verizon

Verizon shut down my DSL service for 4 whole days. Fortunately my digital camera was still working.

I'm currently too lazy to accompany the pics with witty banter and gossip. Just happy to be a part of cyberspace again.

Ummm...

Ugh, so today it was back to work after having a very nice and relaxing 3 days off. Usually I can goof off at job #1 without doing too much, but today there was absolutely no down time. It was work, work, work. I came home absolutely exhausted.

I'm currently really enjoying my white nail polish, which is disgustingly chipping off in the pictures below. It's my new favorite color and I think that I could possibly continue to paint my nails white for the entire summer. It's completely no fuss, and goes with absolutely everything.

As you guys probably already know I'm supposed to be moving to London really soon. I was supposed to move in like 2 weeks but Hunny screwed some things up. To remedy the situation he has decided to come to New York next month and stay for 3 weeks! I'm so excited it's disgusting.

I'm not exactly sure who I was channeling with this outfit. I got this dress out of the kids section in H&M and although I thought it was really cute when I initially purchased it I'm beginning to think that:

(A) it is inappropriately short to be worn as a dress, and
(B) it actually doesn't even fit me anymore

Regardless of the above, I wore this dress, as a dress, today, and hoped that no one noticed that it was a size too small.

Bling Bling

Yesterday I went to see the latest Indiana Jones film with my 17 year old cousin Chucky. The movie absolutely exceeded my expectations and I totally recommend it! Action/adventure movies usually aren't my thing, but that cutie Shia LeBouf made the movie all the more endurable.

Yesterday marked the debut of my new favorite shoes...Gold Converse. I'm obsessed with most gold-toned items and these shoes are no exception. It was love at first sight and I'm so glad that they're mine!

I'm Back...

So I've been absolutely absent from this blog for a while. My apologies. Turns out working 7 days a week was even more difficult than I anticipated. I was supposed to continue working at job #2 until this Thursday, but I think I kind of got fired on Thursday.

Rumor has it that the designer of this "couture" company told his boyfriend that I disliked him. Hours later, this boyfriend, who also happens to be the "president" of the company and my longtime acquaintance, told me not to come in on Monday and said he'd "call me." Well, I haven't received a phone call and I am NOT waiting by the phone. I could say something really nasty about two grown ass men in their 40's gossiping like school girls...BUT, I'm not.

As disgruntled as I am about the shady manner in which I was dismissed, I learned a lot from working there and gained some real fashion experience.

Because of my crazy schedule I literally have had no time to put together anything clever. The two pictures above pretty much accurately reflect the way I've been dressing since I last blogged. My outfits have all basically consisted of the following: Jeans, a T-shirt, a Sweater or Jacket and Converse.
