Ugh..

Again at a loss for words. Quite a few things happening this week...we'll see how it all turns out.

I've basically been wearing the same pieces for the past few days...I don't know if it's due to lack of inspiration or motivation, or just due to the lack of clothes...

Speechless

Not feeling particularly chatty this morning.

Hunny and I went out on Friday and enjoyed a lovely meal. This is what I wore.

Repeat

Today I wore the exact same thing as I did yesterday. To prevent myself from coming across as absolutely filthy, I decided to spice things up by changing my shoes and scarf.

I kind of quit my job today...don't be sad too though, it's a dead end job that pays about 2 bucks an hour.

If all goes well I will find another job soon...if not I'll be bumming around for the next few weeks and you'll have lots of me in sweatpants posts to look forward to.

Gettin On With It...

Today i got tour of central London...well, sort of. Management is having a meeting tomorrow and I had to schlep a shitload of clothes from my workplace to the hotel where this "meeting" is taking place

Good thing is, a taxi transported me to and from both locations. That cab ride was a great opportunity to sit back, relax, and just enjoy the sights. I remember looking out the window at one point somewhere in Soho and thinking to myself this place is fucking amazing...this is why I'm here!

Knocks Me Off My Feet

In the mornings I usually put my IPOD on shuffle and roam about attempting to get myself prepared for the day ahead.

After my shower, I returned to my room to find Tevin Campbell's version of Knocks Me Off My Feet playing. That song truly reminds me of the best parts of Summer '08 in New York and listening to it immediately gave me an incredibly good feeling all over.

Reminiscing about summers past was lovely, but it also reminded me of how important it is to let go of the past in order to move forwards...

I spend most of today chatting and chowing down on some BBQ'd goodies with Hunny and his fam....nice.

Lone Ranger

Today was marked my first day off from that nightmare I call a job.

I spend the early part of the day ferociously job hunting and was looking forward to going out for the latter part of the evening.

I thought I would be hitting the streets with Hunny but, he opted to stay home and watch some sort of ridiculously boring golf tournament. I certainly wasn't going to accompany him in golfing hell so I decided to head to the city to do some exploring.

My exploration didn't last very long though. I quickly realised that aimlessly wandering around just isn't enjoyable unless you have someone solid to do it with.

The day wasn't all bad though, I did manage to head over to Primark and buy two insanely cheap and chic tops...so look out for them in upcoming posts!

An Afternoon Stroll...

Things have been quite crazy since I arrived in London on Wednesday night. I went on two interviews, kinda sorta started working and am kinda sorta thinking about quitting.

Today however, was far more relaxing. I slept in quite late and then headed to Greenwich with Hunny where we went for a stroll and I had my first fish and chips meal in over a year.

I'm still settling in and readjusting to London life so I reckon things will be quite calm on the blog front...please bare with me...

Farewell New York...

New York City has been my home for 20+ years, and leaving it semi-permanently has turned out to be one of the most difficult decisions I have EVER had to make.

It always seems like right before I leave somewhere I discover something new and wonderful there that becomes difficult to leave behind...but I know lots of amazing things await me in London and I'm beyond excited to experience them all.

I pretty much dress the same whenever I fly. T-shirt, Cardigan & UGG boots.

I know most people have a love/hate relationship with UGG boots, but they are the absolute best airport and cold weather shoe ever made.

Farewell New York...London here I come!
